The Epic Turtle Tale
Yesterday one of our 4 turtles broke out of their fenced area in the garden. Unfortunately we didn't catch him while he did it, but only noticed that he was gone when we did the usual headcount. I found that he escaped through the lavender (over the branches, up, then using some other branches as a slide), but not even a long search in the garden was fruitful. We even borrowed the dog of a friend to help us look.

Now, we found him again. Or rather my mother did - and I would say it is kinda per accident. To cut this short (because I'd be shit at explaining) I give you a drawing instead:

Oh yeah, and the red/green dot is our appartment house/garden. My turtle certainly didn't take that way, but rather went through holes in fences. He had to cross a military (yes, indeed) parking lot before that, though.

Additionally to the turtle tale: My sister had her goodbye party yesterday (she's leaving for France - sadly nowhere near the Merlin crew - tomorrow) and we had a nice BBQ in the garden with her friends.
